• In noteworthy victories against the New York Police Department (NYPD), LeBow was able to obtain a settlement of $1.5 million during trial in the United States District Courts for the shooting down of an innocent cab driver by the police. This case, brought under 42 USC of 1983, received huge publicity. In another case, he extracted a verdict of $1.05 million for excessive force by NYPD police personnel.
• In a similar action, he obtained a significant but confidential settlement for the plaintiffs in the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) corruption case.
